ValiPort Patent Accepted
Financial transactions over USSD, WAP and SMS are now safe! After years of waiting, the Patent application that describes the ValiPort process has finally been granted. ValiPort offers a unique method of securing a mobile financial transaction over WAP, USSD and SMS without encryption on the end device. There are many different methods being deployed, but most of them rely on the end device encrypting the data. This is no longer necessary with ValiPort. For more information, please contact us.

Financial USSD Gateway
End-to-end encrypted USSD gateway for financial transactions.
With full end-to-end encryption and IMSI confirmation lookup, the Truteq Encrypted USSD Gateway offers a secure interface to the USSD bearer for banking or financial applications.
In the past, it was possible for insiders to perform fraudulent "SIM swaps" where a subscriber's SIM card is swapped with another for a short time during which money is transferred from that subscriber's account.
Not only is this no longer possible, but the full encryption means that PIN numbers and other information are hidden from the many criminal gangs working in the financial sector.

Modbus Option on Telemetry Devices
Industrial automation has just become a little less expensive.
The new Modbus functionality on the Cruiser and SmarToo devices allows the device to act like a GPRS modem and Modbus IO device in one. This replaces the need for expensive PLC and IO modules to monitor and control machinery and processes via GPRS.
The modem and powerful scripting functions are still available, offering the systems integrator unprecedented options at a surprising low cost.

USSD Application Generator
By now, everybody knows how to use a USSD request to make a Please Call Me (PCM) request or to top up an airtime account.
Such applications represent a only small portion of the possible revenue generators for USSD as a bearer.
Up to now, an Operator had to rely on third party content providers to boost the usage of the USSD bearer, but with the Menu Generator, the Operator can sell content directly without the need to write complex content applications.
It simplifies the process by offering a web interface to create custom menus as well as to define the return content (USSD, SMS or MMS) and premium content charges.
New services can be added in a few minutes rather than the weeks it used to take to develop and maintain new applications.

Adult Content Management module for WAP Gateway
With more and more children gaining access to the Internet through mobile technology, the large number of pornographic web sites have become a problem for mobile network operators.
The new adult content management system for our WAP Gateway solves the problem for network operators by providing them with a USSD-based user provisioning interface, a call centre interface, and statistical features.
The high-volume transacting capabilities of the TruTeq GAIN! platform allows for ultra fast filtering of more than half a million web sites with pornographic content. System throughput and performance of the WAP gateway is therefore not affected. Regular updates ensure that the system remains up-to-date to be able to block new porn sites.
